The Beverlywood neighborhood is located to the west of Robertson Blvd with Pico Blvd to the north and Cattaragus (near the 10 Freeway) to the south. This is a wonderful family neighborhood of primarily single family homes. The area has a lots of families and is in high demand because of its strong community feel, its terrific central location and the consistency of the housing stock – mostly very well-kept single family homes.
Adjacent is Cheviot Hills, a beautiful and historic neighborhood of approximately 1,400 single family homes. Cheviot Hills was originally developed in the 1920s and, with its gently rolling hills, it was named after the Cheviot Hills range lying between England and Scotland. Properties in Cheviot are generally large, well-kept two story homes, often with views. This is an increasingly expensive and highly desirable neighborhood with a very wonderful community feel. Residents are always out walking and jogging around Cheviot Park, and the Cheviot Hills Home Owners’ Association is very active. Located near Beverly Hills, Westwood and Century City, Cheviot is close to a great park, golf (the Rancho Park golf course), shopping, and major employment centers such as 20th Century Fox Studios.
